Our identity is in the TRINITY.

" This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus...All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are unted with Christ."

Ephesians 1:1,3 (NLT)

" Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes."

Ephesians 1:4 (NLT)

God has ADOPTED us.

" God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son."

Ephesians 1:5-6 (NLT)

Adoption was a PERMANENT CHANGE of status.

Jesus makes us ACCEPTABLE for adoption into the family of God.

" But to all who believed in him and accepted hime' he gave the right to become children of God."

John 1:12 (NLT)

" ... everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Romans 10:13 (NLT)

God the son (Jesus) REDEEMED us.

" He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son..."

Redemption: PURCHASED and set free by PAYING a price.

" ...purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins."

Jesus has REVEALED God's will to us.

" He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ - which is to fufill his own good plan."

" Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have recieved an inheritance from God for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan."

We HAVE an inheritance in Christ.

We ARE an inheritance

He has SEALED us.

" ...in whom also having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit."

" ...if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and beieve in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
